Pleasanton, CA – May 12, 2025 – InkSpace Imaging is proud to announce that Dr. Michael (Miki) Lustig, PhD, Co-Founder and Board Member, has been awarded the ISMRM Gold Medal at the 2025 ISMRM Annual Meeting.

The ISMRM Gold Medal is the Society’s highest honor, awarded to individuals who have made exceptional and lasting contributions to the field of magnetic resonance in medicine and biology. Dr. Lustig’s visionary work and dedication to mentorship embody precisely what this award is meant to celebrate.
A Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at UC Berkeley and a Fellow of the Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine, Dr. Lustig is internationally recognized for his transformative research in computational imaging, with a focus on Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). His pioneering contributions—including compressed sensing, parallel imaging reconstruction, and motion correction—have reshaped the speed, accuracy, and efficiency of MRI worldwide.
